Blake Shelton has announced a special concert to benefit those affected by the devastating tornadoes that swept through Oklahoma earlier this week.

Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert will feature performances by Blake, his wife Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire and Vince Gill with proceeds benefiting the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund. More artists will be announced as the concert draws near.

The event will take place at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, OK on Wednesday, May 29th. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. CT on May 25. Tickets are $25, with a limit of eight per person. Tickets can be purchased at the Chesapeake Energy Arena box office, all Ticketmaster locations, by phone at (800) 745-3000 and online at TicketMaster.com.  

"Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy," Shelton said in a statement. "This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero."

Healing in the Heartland will air live at 9pm ET/PT on NBC. Cable networks Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT will also air the event. Radio listeners can tune in to listen to the concert on Clear Channel stations across the country.

Blake Shelton was born and raised in Oklahoma and currently calls in Tishomingo, OK home.
