(WENN) - Chris Young is sporting a swollen eye after an accident with his guitar.

The country star is playing shows in the U.S. throughout the summer, but he is now nursing a bruised eyelid after catching himself with the instrument.

Young posted a picture of his injury on Twitter on Sunday and informed his followers:
